We are actively looking for talents.
Let's build a new kind of law firm, together.
We are actively looking for talented people who want to practise law differently: with strategy, clarity, tenacity and a real understanding of the people behind every legal problem.
We are not building a traditional law firm.
We are building a firm where legal precision meets human intelligence, where ideas are taken seriously, where responsibility is given early and where every person can help shape what comes next.
Good lawyers know the law. Excellent lawyers remain curious.
Strong legal skills matter. But they are only the starting point.
They read beyond the law. They travel, meet people, explore other cultures and question their own assumptions.
Because knowing the law matters. Understanding the world around it changes everything.
That is the kind of talent we are actively looking for.
It is also why we value work-life balance. Our associates receive additional paid leave to travel, study, attend conferences, train or pursue experiences that broaden their perspective.
We do not only want our lawyers to know more. We want them to see more.
What we offer.
At the red firm, you will not be limited to one narrow part of a matter.
You will be encouraged to understand the full picture: the client, the legal issue, the commercial reality, the human dynamics, the strategy, the costs and the desired outcome.
You can expect meaningful responsibility, direct involvement in matters, close collaboration and the opportunity to contribute to the development of the firm itself.
Your ideas will not need to wait for seniority before they are heard.
We offer:
-
Competitive compensation reflecting your experience, contribution and potential.
-
30 days of paid leave, plus additional paid leave for approved personal or professional development projects (whether to travel, study, attend a conference or explore a new field).
-
Merit-based bonuses, not billing-hour bonuses. Our fixed-fee approach means we reward quality, efficiency, initiative and results, not longer timesheets.
-
Genuine autonomy, with the trust and flexibility to organise your work responsibly (independent contract).
-
A share in the value you create, through financial participation in selected matters and client relationships.
-
A clear path for growth, with transparent expectations, increasing responsibility and real opportunities to shape your role within the firm.
What we expect.
We are interested in lawyers, trainees, legal professionals and other talents whose expertise can strengthen the way we understand and solve legal problems.
We are looking for people who are rigorous without being rigid, ambitious without losing their humanity and confident enough to think independently.
People who care about the quality of their work, but also about its purpose. People who can explain complexity clearly, challenge assumptions constructively and remain focused when a matter becomes difficult. People who do not simply want to join a law firm, but want to help build one.
People with different backgrounds. But shared standards.
Our objective criteria:
-
Legal qualification. A Master’s degree in law and eligibility to enrol in the CCDL, or admission to a European bar.
-
A perspective beyond the law. Evidence of academic or professional exposure to another discipline connected to our work, such as psychology, economics, behavioural science, negotiation, business, technology, communication or other human sciences. This may include a multidisciplinary degree, specialised courses, certifications or relevant experience.
-
Demonstrated curiosity. Meaningful involvement in a project, extracurricular activity, international experience, personal initiative or other experience showing a genuine interest in people, cultures, businesses and the world beyond legal practice.
-
A genuine passion for law. Evidence may include publications, research, academic achievements, legal associations, competitions, conferences, pro bono work or other sustained legal activities.
-
Strong analytical and strategic thinking. The ability to look beyond the immediate legal question, identify what is really at stake and communicate complex issues clearly.
-
Excellent written and spoken English and French. Additional languages are a strong asset, particularly Arabic, German, Luxembourgish, Spanish, Italian, Hindi and Nordic languages.
-
Ownership and independence. The ability to take responsibility, exercise sound judgment and work autonomously while knowing when collaboration is needed.
-
Alignment with our standards. Rigour, clarity, integrity, empathy and the tenacity to carry a strategy through.
We are fully aware that not everyone starts from the same place. We consider each candidate’s individual story, background and opportunities. If you do not meet one or more of the criteria above but can demonstrate genuine curiosity, commitment and potential, you are more than welcome to apply.
How to apply.
Please send us your CV and a cover letter. If available, any academic paper, publication or other piece of work that helps us understand how you think.
In your letter, tell us what you understand about the red method, why you believe you could be a good fit for the red firm, and support this with one or more concrete examples.
We also want to understand your journey: the choices you have made, the experiences that have shaped you and what has brought you to this point. If you do not meet one of the criteria listed above, explain why. It will not automatically exclude your application.
We do not believe recruitment should be governed by rigid conventions. It is, first and foremost, about people.
Your cover letter may be as long or as short as you need. The same applies to your CV.
What matters is not whether your application follows a standard format.
What matters is whether it helps us understand who you are, how you think and what you could bring to the red firm.
By submitting your application, you acknowledge that you have read and understood our Privacy Policy and that your personal data will be processed in accordance with it.
